Does my video get uploaded?
No. Your browser extracts and compresses the audio first, so the original video file never leaves your device.
Is my audio stored?
Only briefly. The uploaded audio is deleted the instant your transcript is produced, and the speech engine retains nothing.
How does speaker labeling work?
We use automatic diarization to separate speakers, then lay the transcript out as a dialog. You can rename each speaker once and it updates everywhere.
What file formats and lengths are supported?
Any common audio or video file, up to 4 hours (1 GB). The audio is converted to a compact FLAC in your browser before upload.
How does billing work?
Prepaid minute packs — no subscription. Failed jobs are refunded automatically, and minutes expire only after 6 months of inactivity.
Are my transcripts private?
Yes. All transcripts are private to your account.
Which export formats are available?
Plain text (TXT), SRT subtitles, a Word document (DOCX), and structured JSON — all generated in your browser.
