तीन चरणों में subtitle formats convert करें
ऐसी subtitle file चुनें जिसमें पहले से timed cues हों। ऊपर tool में output format चुनें। Default में SRT चुना होता है। Conversion के बाद नई file download करें। Processing आपके browser में होती है, इसलिए file upload नहीं होती।
VTT, ASS, SBV या TTML को SRT में convert करें
SRT file चाहिए तो अपनी मौजूदा VTT, ASS, SBV या TTML file चुनें और SRT चुना रहने दें। Converter SRT cue numbers और timestamps लिखता है। यह subtitle cues पढ़कर उन्हें दोबारा लिखता है, इसलिए output source की byte-for-byte copy नहीं होता।

Tool को ऐसी file चाहिए जिसके timed cues पढ़े जा सकें। Cues न मिलने पर यह converted download नहीं बना सकता। Plain TXT यहाँ output नहीं है; subtitles को plain text में बदलने के लिए SRT to TXT converter इस्तेमाल करें। Plain text से SRT बनाने के लिए TXT to SRT converter इस्तेमाल करें, जो cue times का अनुमान लगाता है; यह converter ऐसा नहीं कर सकता, क्योंकि बिना timing वाले text में cue times होते ही नहीं।
SRT file क्या है? VTT file क्या है?
SRT file subtitle cues को plain text में रखती है: cue number, शुरुआत और अंत के timestamps जिनमें comma इस्तेमाल होता है, और caption text। VTT (WebVTT) file में इसी तरह के cues होते हैं, लेकिन यह WEBVTT header से शुरू होती है और timestamps में periods इस्तेमाल करती है। दोनों को कई video players और platforms support करते हैं। आपको कौन-सा चाहिए, यह इस पर निर्भर करता है कि file कहाँ इस्तेमाल होगी। ज़्यादा जानकारी के लिए SRT और VTT subtitle formats की तुलना पढ़ें।
अपनी ज़रूरत का subtitle file format चुनें
Output menu में SRT, VTT, SBV, ASS और TTML हैं। अपने player, editor या delivery platform का ज़रूरी format चुनें और उसमें result जाँचें। Conversion cue identifiers, styling, settings, metadata या timing precision बदल सकता है। सिर्फ़ SRT-to-WebVTT workflow के लिए SRT to VTT कन्वर्टर इस्तेमाल करें।
Audio या video से captions चाहिए?
यह tool आपके मौजूदा subtitles का format बदलता है। Recording से timed captions बनाने के लिए सबटाइटल जनरेटर इस्तेमाल करें। उस अलग service के लिए account चाहिए और transcription के लिए तैयार audio upload होता है।

क्या SRT को TXT या TXT को SRT में convert कर सकते हैं?
SRT to TXT एक अलग tool है: /tools/srt-to-txt पर SRT to TXT converter इस्तेमाल करें, जो cue numbers और timecodes हटाता है और VTT, SBV, ASS व TTML भी पढ़ता है। TXT to SRT भी एक अलग tool है: /tools/txt-to-srt पर TXT to SRT converter plain text को cues में बाँटता है और उन्हें अनुमानित समय देता है, जो किसी recording से मेल नहीं खाते। इस converter को ऐसी file चाहिए जिसमें cue times पहले से हों।
