Hushscript turns recorded Korean speech into written text you can search, correct, and export. It runs automated speech-to-text on the recording and gives you an editor for reviewing the result yourself.
Automated Korean audio to text for existing recordings
Add a Korean audio or video recording and preview up to 5 minutes before signup. The preview detects the source language automatically and shows the original-language transcript. It does not use source, dictionary, keyterm, prompt, or translation choices.
For the full job, recordings can run up to 10 hours. Select Korean as the source, then add names and recurring terms as one-off keyterms, use a prompt for the recording, or apply saved dictionary and prompt context. These choices guide the full transcription rather than changing the preview you already checked.
Korean speech to text with speakers and editing
Korean supports speaker labels, so interviews and saved conversations can remain separated by speaker. In the transcript workspace, correct words, rename or reassign speakers, search the text, and use find and replace.
Machine transcripts can contain errors, so review names and terms yourself before you rely on them.
Korean to English voice translation in writing
Translation is optional. Keep the original Korean transcript when that is all you need, or add English as a written translation target for the full job in normal mode. Hushscript keeps the Original Korean and written English translation in separate language tabs.
This direction is one-way in Hushscript: Korean is a supported transcription source, while English is a supported written translation target. Korean is not a translation target, so English-to-Korean translation is unavailable. Each optional English target adds 25% of the recording duration to billed minutes. The result is text, not synthesized speech, dubbing, or live interpretation.

Why Hushscript
Private Korean recordings
Interviews, lessons, and podcasts in Korean often hold personal detail. Hushscript never trains models on your recordings, and deleting a transcript returns a downloadable receipt.
Speaker-labeled transcript
Keep supported conversations divided by speaker, then rename speakers and correct wording in the editor.
Optional written English
Add a written English translation for the full job when you need one. Hushscript keeps the Korean original and the English translation in separate tabs you export independently.
Frequently asked questions
Can I transcribe Korean audio to text for free?
Preview up to 5 minutes before signup. A full Korean transcription draws on personal minutes: eligible accounts can receive 30 free minutes once after successful card verification, or with their first purchase if not already granted. Then it is pay-as-you-go.
Is Hushscript an automated Korean transcription service?
Yes. Hushscript uses automated speech-to-text software for existing Korean recordings. You review and edit the generated text yourself; it does not employ human transcribers or provide certified transcripts.
Can I convert speech to text in Korean with speaker labels?
Yes. Korean supports speaker labels, so recorded conversations can remain divided by speaker. You can rename or reassign speakers and correct the text in the transcript workspace.
Can I translate Korean voice recordings into English text?
Yes. For the full job in normal mode, select Korean as the source and optionally add English as a written translation target. Hushscript keeps the original Korean and written English in separate language tabs.
Does the Korean voice translator create spoken audio?
No. The Korean voice is the recorded input, and the optional translated output is written English text. The result is text: no synthesized speech, no dubbing, no live microphone feed.
Can I add Korean names and terminology before transcription?
Yes, for the full job. After the preview, enter names and specialist terms as one-off keyterms, write a prompt for the recording, or reuse a saved dictionary or prompt preset. The free preview does not take these settings.
How is my Korean recording handled?
The public preview sends only a short audio clip. For a full job from a local file, Hushscript uploads the audio for recognition and the source video stays on your device; audio links are fetched server-side. Hushscript removes the transcription audio after the transcript is saved and does not use recordings to train models.
