Transcription and inputs

• Audio and video files. Transcribe recordings up to 10 hours. There is no fixed file-size limit; large files are prepared in your browser, subject to your device. How it works
• Video stays on your device. The app copies or converts the audio track locally and uploads only the audio. Video to text

Insights

• All-in Insights. One run produces summaries, actions, decisions and open questions with transcript evidence, quotes, chapters, speaker topics and subject clusters. Video summarizer
• Cleaned transcript. The same run rewrites the whole transcript as a Cleaned version in its own tab. The Original is kept. Pricing
• Suggestions. Title, tag, speaker-name, export and terminology suggestions, plus profanity findings. Titles, tags and speaker names are never applied silently. FAQ
• Free first run. The first Insights generation for each transcript uses no minutes. Regenerating later costs 40% of the recording’s length from the Original, or 30% from the Cleaned version. Pricing

Languages

• Roughly 99 spoken languages. Transcribe in the language you choose, or let Hushscript detect it. Languages

Privacy and security

• Private by design. The transcription copy of your audio is removed after the transcript is saved, and recordings are not used to train models. Private transcription
• Encrypted at rest. Stored transcript content, titles, speaker metadata, translations and AI artifacts are encrypted. Security
• Private mode. Speech recognition still runs as a service, but no transcript is saved to your account. You receive a password-protected .husharchive instead. Translation, medical mode and Insights are not available in this mode. Private transcription
• Retention control. Keep transcripts until you delete them, or auto-delete after 7, 30, 90 or 365 days, with a different setting per transcript if you want. FAQ
• Deletion and data export. Delete transcripts, AI artifacts or your whole account; the dedicated deletion flows return a downloadable JSON receipt. Download a copy of your account data and transcripts any time. Security
• EU processing. Audio from the EU, EEA, Switzerland and the UK is processed in the EU. Security

Pricing and minutes

• Prepaid minute packs. Five packs, from $1.99 for 45 minutes to $49.99 for 6,000 minutes, with no subscription. Pricing
• 30 free minutes. Eligible personal accounts get 30 minutes once, after card verification or with the first purchase. Full transcription itself needs an account and available minutes, not a card. Pricing
• Add-ons. Medical mode adds 100% of the recording’s length, and each translation target adds 25%. Pricing
• Receipts and promo codes. Download a PDF payment receipt for each purchase, and redeem a promo code when one is active. Pricing
• Referrals. An invited customer’s first paid pack can earn them bonus minutes, and you earn minutes on their eligible purchases in their first 60 days. Referrals

Teams

• Shared workspace. One prepaid pool of hours for the whole workspace, on monthly or yearly plans. Hushscript for Teams
• Roles and custody. Members plus separate admin, billing and reviewer rights. Private custody keeps transcripts with the member who made them; firm custody adds audited reviewer access. Security
