Plenty of orgs allow recording but leave transcription off, and turning it on means a ticket, a justification, and a wait. No ticket, no tenant app

Everything that makes Teams integrations slow to adopt is absent here, because there is no integration. Hushscript is not a Teams app: nothing is installed in the tenant, no permissions are granted against your Microsoft account, no bot appears in the meeting roster. You’re uploading a file you already have access to, the same as attaching it to an email – with the difference that the audio is extracted in your browser and the video itself never uploads.

The answers IT asks for

An external service touching meeting content raises fair questions, so here are the answers up front. Only the extracted audio track is sent, and it is deleted the moment the transcript is ready – there is no stored copy to request, leak, or subpoena later. Recordings are never used to train models. Transcripts are encrypted at rest, under retention windows you control, down to auto-delete or private mode with no saved transcript at all. EU, EEA, Swiss, and UK audio is processed in the EU. Whether your workplace policy permits an outside transcription service for a given recording is still your call to check – for the meetings where it does, the data trail is short and ends quickly.

From an hour of talk to a page of decisions

A Teams recording of a project review is an hour of context nobody will rewatch.
