Confidential calls stay confidential

The recording is deleted the moment your transcript is ready – keeping audio around is not part of the deal. Stored transcripts are encrypted at rest, retention is your setting (keep until deleted, or auto-delete after 7 to 365 days), and for the most sensitive calls private mode delivers a password-protected archive without saving a transcript to the account at all. EU, EEA, Swiss, and UK audio is processed in the EU.
