Our commitment
Hushscript targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance across both the marketing
site (hushscript.com) and the web application
(app.hushscript.com). We test for keyboard navigability, colour
contrast, screen-reader compatibility, and focus management.
Known limitations
As of the date above, the following items are open and in progress:
- Some component contrast in the dark and dimmed themes may fall below AA in edge cases; a polish pass is ongoing.
- Very long transcripts (thousands of lines) are not yet virtualised; assistive-technology performance with large result sets may be poor.
The marketing site (hushscript.com) passes automated contrast checks in all three themes. The core app
upload and transcription controls are keyboard-operable with a visible focus indicator.
Report an issue
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please email support@hushscript.com with a description of the issue and, if possible, the URL and assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge your report within two business days and provide a substantive response within ten business days.
Technical approach
The marketing site is built with Astro (static HTML). We use semantic HTML5 elements and ARIA attributes where appropriate. Colour tokens are tested against AA contrast ratios. The in-browser transcription preview is a progressively enhanced island; its file-input and action controls are keyboard-operable and expose accessible labels.
