When you’d want this

Say an interview got recorded in two takes, interview-part1.m4a and interview-part2.m4a, and you want a single file to hand off. Drop both in, put part 1 above part 2, and download one MP3. Other common cases: combining separate voice memos from one meeting, joining a multi-part lecture or podcast before you share it, or putting a batch of clips, song intros, and ad reads onto one continuous track.

Order control, two ways

Drag any file’s handle to move it up or down the list. The up and down arrow buttons next to each file do the same thing from the keyboard alone. Remove a file with the × button if you added the wrong one. The files join in the order shown, top to bottom, so check the list before you download.

Output

Every file is re-encoded to MP3 at 192 kbps before joining, regardless of its original format. That keeps the combined file consistent, with no format mismatches and no quality cliff at the seams, at a bitrate high enough that the join is the only thing you’d notice.

Good to know

This tool joins clips back-to-back. It doesn’t trim silence or add a crossfade between them. If a file has dead air at the start or end, that silence carries into the merged file too; cut it first with the audio cutter if you want a cleaner seam. Nothing is final until you download, so you can reorder or remove files right up to the moment you press Join.

Privacy

The join runs in your browser via WebAssembly. Every file you add stays on your own laptop or phone from the moment you drop it to the moment you download, with no upload, no server, and no account involved.
